Product Conformance Chart
THE MASTER PAINTERS INSTITUTE (MPI)
MPI's Approved Products websites were built to provide a vital reference for the thousands of buyers and specifiers who need MPI approved paints - so the vast majority of MPI's site visitors have 100% paint procurement in mind and are in search of MPI-approved products.
The GREEN WISE ® mark is recognized by specifiers, contractors, and retail customers as a mark they can trust. It's their assurance that the product bearing this mark has been tested by an ISO accredited testing laboratory and found to meet or exceed scientifically determined environmental standards. GREEN WISE ® certified products also meet or exceed the paint and coatings VOC requirements of LEED© Indoor Air Quality Credit 4.2 for most applications.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION (EPD)
A Full Transparency Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a summary report of a product’s environmental performance based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), a scientific process which examines the environmental impacts associated with all stages of a product’s life, from raw material extraction, through processing, manufacture, distribution, use, repair/maintenance, to end of life (disposal or recycling)
MINDFUL MATERIALS (MM)
mindful MATERIALS (mM) is a platform with aggregated information on human health and environmental impacts for products from leading manufacturers, vetted by experts passionate about making it easier to make informed product choices.
COLLABORATIVE FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE SCHOOLS (CHPS)
CHPS is proud to release for public use this online, searchable high performance building product database, in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and California's Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). Our goal is to make available products that help schools meet CHPS and other green building criteria, and deliver environmental and health benefits to their occupants.
LEADERSHIP IN ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN (LEED)
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is redefining the way we think about the places where we live, work and learn.
